Vlad is incorrect. I had a missing tooth for over 10 years and the only thing that happens is the bone decay when the root of the tooth is no longer there. When I went to get my implant at the age of 21 or 22 I had to get a bone graft due to the fact of my missing tooth bone decaying by not being there and then I was able to get a implant after the bone grafting was completed. No braces need and my teeth did not close together.
