I just got done watching the video on Malcolm Jamal Werner and Eddie Griffin. Eddie Griffin had been saying for years how you don’t get to die clean. You don’t get to get so much money, power and control without the “machine” having a problem with it. If you’re successful and black in the industry then you have a high chance of having allegations and anything that could destroy your image if you were to do anything off program. For example, if you don’t wear emasculating clothing for a role, if you know the truth of how things are in this world and you tell it to the world, you’re one step closer to the “machine” using its final method to silence you. You cannot open the eyes of people outside of the industry. You cannot go off program, you can only keep people thinking a certain way. A lot of people in this world believe everything they’re told and if you have a mind of your own and try to get others to realize they can think for themselves, you may end up like MJ, Prince , Bill Cosby and now Malcolm Jamal Werner. This is why things that are real will only be presented to us as fiction. They don’t want us thinking for ourselves, they want us controlled. Tyler Perry is part of that machine. He has his OWN production property. You don’t get that far being clean. Believe that weird stuff is DEFINITELY happening.

I completely agree with 99% of this, my only objection is I will be eternally grateful to my step-father, I call him my dad, who is a black man, for coming into my moms life. He taught me what a real man, father, and husband looks like, and how a man should treat a woman. My mom and I are white, so was my biological father, who did absolutely nothing but destroy my mom’s life to the point where she fled with me as a baby to get away from him.

I genuinely feel blessed to have grown up in an environment with interracial parents for the majority of my life, it had a huge impact on how I see the world and my personal belief race should never keep people apart when they love eachother, even when other members of my family made it clear they didn’t accept their relationship, they knew they loved eachother and he treated me like his own daughter from day one. I’m very proud of my mom and my dad.

I can also completely understand Dr. Umar’s perspective, but in my own experience it was extremely positive.
