Clipse, to dive into their rap careers and their new album ‘Let God Sort Em Out.’ They discuss how they originally linked up with super producer Pharrell Williams and how he has been a huge part of their sound from the very beginning. Next, Pusha and Malice break down why they left Def Jam over the Kendrick Lamar track on their new album, explaining that in no way is it a beef record, but that politics and optics were the real reason Def Jam had a problem with it. They also thank Jay-Z and Roc Nation for stepping up to do the distribution and explain why they decided that the first track be “The Birds Don’t Sing,” a tribute to their late mother and father, featuring John Legend.

The crazy thing about this is my Godbrother grew up on gunhill road and he has greads now and his father pass away last year who i call my father . I have a bald head and when that single drop i was up and listen to it and started crying long story but i sent the song to my Godbrother and his son and told his son when The Clipse first came out i always said we look like all four of us could be brothers .It just happen to be the 13 day this video been out and am just watching it 1+3= 4 my Godbrother move to bahamas 20 years ago and he said he is never coming back to nyc even tho he still has the house on gunhill road my grandfather is from bahamas and i have a home there also an been thinking i should move there as well .That story about faith have me thinking about my life and yes am leaving a lot of stuff out but am going to listen to this enter album again tonight and do some soul searching .

This interview was great. I found out a lot about the Clipse. It's one of my favorite rap groups. I respect the fact that Jada checked Joe during the interview just to correct his verbiage. I like the fact they spoke about God and the importance of having faith in the music industry. I have always respected real lyricists like L.O.X., Jadakiss, the Clipse, Fat Joe, Jay-Z, Kanye West, Eminem, Lil Wayne, Outkast because they always had something to say that felt important to them. Real lyricist bring awareness to real topics. It's not about the braggadious flow. The I got cars, women and money talk is cool, but when there is substance in the music, you can learn from the person reciting the rhymes based on their lived experience.
