Oh I've been looking for podcasts like these! Finally! Thank you, Hasan!
When ELVIS PRESLEY?????? Man, you need to educate yourself on who created rock 'n' roll!
Rap, punk and metal are symbiotic creatures rises from the understanding of how f*cked up the world is and we must come together rise up against the inequitable conditions we exist in.✌❤🔥🧠🙏✊
When he said “shit” then carry on the explain it. Thats hit deep!
26:37 I really believe you're right there method Man I mean my great grandma helped raise me
The mom and dad burden table statement is serious business.
Method being a SOAD fan 🤍🤍
its almost like nobody did the cameras for him or pressed record for him or wrote for him or coached him or anything – hes a self made man 🤣
What a cool and humble down to earth man he is. I feel calmer after listening to Method Man. Great interview Hassan.
Wow I can’t believe you interviewed Jordan Howlett!
Fantastic. Thank you Hassan. Thank you Method Man. Wu tang is for the children.
I think Grease 2 is a GenX guilty pleasure. It was a cable staple back in the day. heh.
Trump tariff tax (ttt)
Hassan's blaccent has got to go.
Wu-Tang Forever
this just motivated a newly 30 year old. I really want to go to the gym and so far 20 mins in everything you said let me know I'm not crazy and alone
Method is wrong here – leg day is everyday.
I’m 45, I can punt a football 70 yds no prob.
The kids ask me to make them lemonade and that’s when I groan.
met Method Man 2wice, once in LA as he barged into Dennys and abducted Farrah over his shoulder, (who was hanging with our little nerdy crew) and once in a makeshift producer studio in Staten Island.
Man the part about the great grandchildren was emotional and beautiful. You could feel the reverence.
A small Indian wedding is 300 people.😂🎉
He also had a nice turn in "Godfather of Harlem"
Method Man is really my favourite rapper. He is intelligent, wise, witty, articulate yet also street smart and hood.
Great work Hasan! And what can I say of Meth. Legend. Very interesting to hear. Nonetheless let me express my anger about that "i dont do politics" trope. Youre talking about the working class, being critic with power, building community, thats politics 101.
This was a wonderful interview.
I'm a 60 year old grandma, and I SWEAR Minaj is totally my celebrity crush!! 🥰😳
Thanks Hasan , you really interviewed him in a new and wonderful way , I love Method Man, I still can't get the accent right but I've studied his style always 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Czarface was the first section of wu i saw with comic book covers
335lb bench/500 deadlift!! Wild Meth!! I'm in the gym 5 days a week so I know this is insane!! That's awesome. …Shout out to him for being honest about the 'cheat code.' Facts. Always have loved METH since my teenage years. "36 Chambers" was released when I was 14 so I grew up on Wu and Meth solo projects! 🙂
M E T H O D Man. Legend
Dev Patel would make an excellent guest! Especially after the great film Monkey man 🙂
What a charming and charismatic dude, confident but not bragging, playful but serious, he seem to be a great guy and for decades
Good God this was a great watch….
Ay yo! I love leg day!😂
Interesting… He said 60 Second Assassin is the one singing at the start. I do believe I saw an interview where Buddha Monk said it was him, and that everyone thought it ODB.
My first teenage crush. 😊 Mr. Meth, you are aging like fine wine. ❤
3:43 1949. Goree Carter's "Rock a While"
👏❤ this show! Every episode has been informative, entertaining and made me laugh- even when the guest have been politicians 👏
DOPE interview! One of Meth's BEST. So inspiring to see his growth & maturity. Kudos on going back to finish high school! PEACE
Thank you Hasan👑🙏🏾
Twin big bro👐🏾👑🙏🏾
@36:08 comment "beef is part of HipHop" please consider & explore how a foundation of battling w the elements in Hip Hop was as a safe(r) alternative to gang violence… PEACE
great conversation from History of Hip Hop and on, but oddly personal favorite was discussion of Great Grandparents. At over 50 I still remember my visit with my great grandfather with deep love. He taught me how to still love after deep trauma at a very young age. The bonds and joy aren't just for the grandparents and the great grandparents but for those great-grandchildren who will remember their whole lives.
Bro needs to stop with these questions man, c’mon. “What is HH at its core?” 🙄 “you know who can tell us where this country is going?! The Blacks! Meth your black, tell me where this country is going.” Huh?!?
Damn. You really wanna talk about it being documented but then forget about the nuerricans that helped created hiphop
I also hate how every time people talk about early America. They forget Puerto Rico and how we were enslaved and used as test subjects for experiments too
