NBA YoungBoy recently released his latest album, Make America Slime Again, which hit the scene last week. Almost immediately, the Baton Rouge artist found himself back under public scrutiny. Annoyed by fans’ interpretations of his recent comments, YoungBoy vented on Instagram with a pointed query: β€œWhy every time I say something y’all twist it?” While he offered no further details, the post stirred a fresh wave of online speculation.

DJ Akademiks, who often analyzes hip-hop’s online landscape, shared YoungBoy’s message on his platform, generating a flurry of theories about its implication. Some fans connected the rapper’s frustration to his previous works, mentioning Still Flexin, Still Steppin and Sincerely, Kentrell, while others humorously speculated that the message could be aimed at Akademiks himself. β€œWait till after this week,” YoungBoy said in a clip shared by Akademiks. β€œWe gone go back on that Gutta Sh*t. We gone go Still Flexin Still Steppin,” a remark interpreted by many as a hint at upcoming music.

Yet it’s not just cryptic social media posts causing a stir. Lyrics from YoungBoy’s song β€œXXX” have also made headlines. One particular lineβ€”β€œWhatever Trump doin’, b*tch it’s good for the youngins (All Hail Trump)”—has resonated strongly, particularly in light of renewed controversies surrounding the former president. The Wall Street Journal recently revealed that former Attorney General Pam Bondi allegedly notified Trump regarding documents related to the Jeffrey Epstein sex trafficking case, further fueling discussions around YoungBoy’s political lyricism.

Upcoming Tour: The MASA Experience

In addition to the music and ongoing controversies, fans will soon get a chance to see NBA YoungBoy live in concert. He is preparing for the 2025 MASA Tour (Make America Slime Again), which launches on September 2 in Dallas, Texas, at the American Airlines Center. This tour will cover major cities including Houston, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Chicago, Brooklyn, and Atlanta, concluding on November 12 at Seattle’s Climate Pledge Arena. With an extensive national tour ahead, YoungBoy appears set to complement his provocative lyrics with an engaging live performance.
