The streets of SoHo lit up on Saturday, July 26, as HOT 97 teamed up with Denim Tears for a remarkable celebration of music, fashion, and culture.
This vibrant two-block Summer Block Party, located on Spring Street in Manhattan, drew an enthusiastic crowd, headlined by a surprise performance from the iconic rap duo Clipse.
With beats from HOT 97’s Funk Flex, the event buzzed with energy, featuring impressive sets from renowned DJs like DJ Bobby Trends from HOT 97, Mecca NYC, Moochie, and Venus X.
Clipse, featuring Pusha T and Malice, transformed the night into a moment in hip-hop history by surprising fans around 8 p.m. They performed tracks from their latest album, Let the Lord Sort ’Em Out, including hits like “Ace Trumpets” and “Chains & Whips,” igniting the crowd with every verse.
The night was overflowing with star power as special guests like media personality Jason Lee, rapper Bay Swag, and reality TV star Tommie Lee were spotted amidst the crowd, soaking in the vibe.
